    Hi

I finally dragged myself to post a thread on the forum about my current project. I have a thread at the norwegian audi forum, but linking directly to the thread wont do any good since its on norwegian.

This has been a project for 3,5years and its been buildt in 3stages. However a couple of years ago I completly lost my urge to work on my car, and I mange to have like a 2-3hours monthly average in the garage. A couple of months ago I found some inspiration and started working again. The only problem now is that its starting to get cold outside and I have no heating in the garage

A quick summary of the three stages (probably half of the mods is forgotten), and a currenct modification will be posted as I work my way to my norwegian thread.

    Stage 1:

    91mod with 3b engine
    ca 190 000km
    leather rs2 interior

    Engine:
    3B
    Spm rods.
    modified org.pistons 8,8 comp
balanced og weight adjusted short block
Sachs racing clamp plate with a special friction disc from KRB Norway
    Skinne ported og overhauled head.
Coted exhaust valves, stronger valve springs, titan retainers, shimsa lach caps
Jonus cams med adjustable camgear pulley
    Furans exhaust manifold
    Furans intake manifold
Turbonetics e60 turbo with .68 exhaust housing and 3" v-band
    Forge intercooler
    500 chip and 3bar map
    4" LMM
    044 pumpe in tank
    750cc injectors
    Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
    034 motorsport fuelrail
    034 motorsport fuel line kit
Ferrita ss exhaust with 3" V-band clamps. 3,5" DP.
    034 motorsport oil turbo kit.
Msd 6al ingniter og msd coil
    13rows setrab oil cooler

    Chassis:
Blasted and painted underneath and engineroom
powerflex bushings in wishbones ,diff and anti rollbar
    alubushings in subframe
034 motorsport engine and tranny mounts.
    Whiteline antiroll bar rear.
    H&R coilovers
    custom strutmounts front and rear
    Everything else is new stock
    5speed gearbox

    brakes:
    Cayenne turbo calippers
    345mm S8 discs
    homemade brackets
    Custom brake hoses

    new rs2 headlights
    new rs2 mirrors

This was basically step one, wich I used for like 1week before I got tired of the crappy motronic efi

The next step included Autonic SMC, new cams (from KrB) and a mapping on a dynapack.
After 1trackday i found out that there wasnt enought oil cooling, so I fitted 2x 19rows coolers with AN10 hoses `n fittings. I also made a oil breathing system.
my 1st attempt in drag race resulted in a broken gearbox so i bought a 96rs2 gearbox.
my 2nd attempt resultet in a twisted rear axle, but I`m still running original.

No thats for the reverse. I havent tried the car much on the road yet but i tried without and because of the "close fitment" of the gears makes it easy to put it in reverse instead of 1st (I dont know if my explanation made any sense? )

Thanks that is what I aim for as well
the only thing left is for you to give me a good price on the paintjob so I can get the finish up to the same level

Finish is everything! But as I said to another member: I do not miss those 300 hours of sanding and painting! But a outside respray can be possible

Thanks, the only thing the car needs now is new paint and some bigger rear brakes.

I found one picture on my computer wich shows the shifter a bit more in detail
